Here is a good project I have backed for telling how capable your printer is at spikes, controlled cuts, ridges, overhangs, text, and flexibility. These look like quick prints that can be used to calibrate your printer/materials. They are meant to be used as key chains as well so you can show off your printers capability, or lack thereof.

I'm thinking that these may be fun to print one Hack Night as a competition to see whose printer is the most capable.
