Edit: Here is a link. http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem ... 0147836996 Looks like they start at $20 apeice when you buy 5.

Oh, well that actually looks like a semi-legit ebay store. Nice find, man.

I bought my heated bed from eBay a while ago from http://www.ebay.com/itm/RepRap-PCB-Heat ... 3f15371c68 it's a nice PCB, minimal warp, silkscreened on both sides.

I originally bought mine from mixshop.com (don't ever buy anything from there!) and it was a piece of junk, it lacked silkscreening on one side (the side I wanted visible, it was sold as an MK2 board so it's supposed to have silkscreening on both sides), it was very warped and the soldermask was blotchy and so thin in some places there was exposed copper. I was finally able to return it but never did get all my money back. The store owner was an ass and knew their entire batch of PCBs was defective but was selling them anyways.

Do either of these places have both items, the glass and the heated bed? Costs go way up if we have to pay both.

just some thoughts.

Honestly, this looks pretty legitimate.

I'm looking to pull the trigger fairly soon, and $25 including shipping looks like a pretty good price.

REign was going to try and manage the group order, if you are ordering single pieces, let him know so that its not confusing as to who should order what.

Ok so the purpose of this thread is to get a group order done. Anyone found any stores that sell borosilicate beds? I think lulzbot is the only one-stop shop in that regard.

Do we have any options?

If we have enough orders, I found this place earlier that will sell the boro glass for $6/each, but they have a $100 minimum order & approx. $20 shipping. So for about the same price as 4 sheets of glass from lulzbot ($25/each, ouch!), we could get about 16 sheets from here, http://howardglass.com/

In that case, I'm down for 2 sheets if we go from there. Spare ftw.

Just any FYI in case... you only need the borosilicate glass if you're printing ABS (or anything higher temp) on a heated bed, for PLA I've been using dollar store 8x10 picture frame glass with great success and it fits without any cutting needed.
