I thought I'd share a few pictures from this past weekend. One of my scout groups (mostly 11-year-olds) decided they would like to learn a bit about robotics. We grabbed two Lego mindstorms kits and split them into two teams. Each team designed and built a robot that could rotate until it found a can, then pushed the can over a masking tape line on the floor. They all got through that without any trouble. At the end they tried to get their robots to push each other, which didn't work out completely before we ran out of time. We all had lots of fun, though. P1050704.JPG P1050705.JPG P1050713.JPG

Great! Looks like they had fun.
Did they finish up the robotics merit badge then? if not or if you need a counselor we can help wit that too. The Explorer Post can host another session soon if needed.
Thanks!

Yup, they finished it all. Thanks for the offer, though.
