Need to order Filament

I need to order some black PLA and wanted to split shipping with somebody. Is anybody needing to order filament? I usually order from thefutureis3d.com because they are in Montana and I've had good success with their PLA, but I am open to other sources. I've looked at JustPLA.com and Lulzbot.com as alternatives. Anybody interested or have recent input (good or bad) on filament sources? I don't really want to risk a China source at this point as they are hit or miss.

I'm in! Been needing some black filament myself.

I haven't done a ton of research, but UltiMachine looks promising, maybe?

Cole, I'm thinking of sticking with thefutureis3d.com or trying matterhackers.com. From what I've seen on the internet, matterhackers are guys that care about the quality and won't use cheap stuff, but their prices are good as well. I also will most likely place an order of laywood from lulzbot.com.

When do you need to order by?

I don't have a "need by" date. Just whenever it gets in. :)

Looks like PLA from them is $16-17/lb which sounds about right.
Matterhackers has a Black 1Kg spool of PLA that I want, but it looks out of stock until the 9th. If you have a direction you want to go, that's fine too.

Alright, we have an order placed from matterhackers. I also ordered some of the taulman nylon and cherry laywood to play with. Has anybody in OLI tried the nylon or laywood yet?

This is an older thread but you can try looking at Citizen Scientific and give their's a try, it is produced in the US.
